Position Summary:
The Implementation Project Manager role is a contract position for with the possibility of full time employment in the future. The Implementation Project Manager will work directly with customers to manage the customization and roll-out of our courseware, they are responsible for managing all activities necessary to bring ELT’s customers from the point of a closed deal to successful launch of the training initiative. This includes project scheduling, client interface, coordinating with other ELT team members and status reporting.
At ELT, the Implementation Project Manager will handle multiple small projects on relatively short timelines. High energy, good project management skills and attention to detail are necessities to succeed. The successful candidate will manage milestones that govern project success to ensure delivery within time, cost and quality parameters. This will be an exciting and high visibility position and the Implementation Project Manager will have the opportunity to work directly with both business decision makers and technical resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be prime point of contact for customer implementations and develop good working relationships with client stakeholders.
- Effectively manage customers to make sure projects are completed on time.
- Participate in customer presentations to explain our implementation and customization process
- Review the materials for customization provided by the customer.
- Validate customizations and publish the customized courseware for customer review
- Obtain sign off from customer for course customization
- Package courseware for delivery to customers.
- Manage task priorities and schedules across multiple projects
- Collaborate with the technical and creative teams to ensure accurate delivery of projects
- Make timely decisions to ensure project success
- Conduct project reviews and provide the client with project status reports
- Work with the Implementation Team and Account Executives to ensure a consistent approach and client satisfaction
Position Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent experience required
- Highly organized with consistent attention to detail
- Interest in managing interactive content development projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Proficient in MS Office
- “Roll up your sleeves” attitude with pleasant work demeanor
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of project management best practices
- Excellent attention to detail
- A working knowledge of web scripting (HTML, XML, JavaScript)
- A good technical grounding and experience implementing software solutions
- Experience working with SalesForce
