ELT’s Learning Management System or Third-Party Systems
All of ELT’s courses are e-learning solutions where users view and interact with the course entirely online and are available 24/7. On the backend, all of our courses are hosted on a learning management system (LMS). An LMS is an online software tool that lets you manage all of your organization’s users and the courses they view and also allows you to run any necessary reports. The LMS facilitates “anytime, any place, any pace” access
With an LMS, you can:
- Enroll users in various courses
- Create detailed reports (e.g. who has started and completed the course)
- Obtain learner training history (e.g. start date, completion date)
- Automate email reminders for user enrollments or reminders
- Preview courses
With an LMS, learners receive:
- Simple and quick access to training courses
- Bookmarking (the ability to exit the course and restart again at the same place)
- Access to their own training history
- Ability to review completed courses
- Continued access to courseware resources (e.g. online resource guides)
ELT’s LMS
Our LMS can be set-up quickly and has minimal impact on your organization's IT infrastructure and resources. Prior to launch, our Help Desk team will provide an in-depth LMS training session to show you how to perform the day-to-day tasks of administering your training. ELT’s help desk is available throughout your training initiative for ongoing support.

Your Own LMS
You can also host our courseware on your own LMS. Our implementation team has extensive experience implementing our courseware on third-party learning systems, ensuring a seamless transfer of content and tracking information. ELT has successfully integrated its AICC1 and SCORM2 compatible courseware on hundreds of LMS’s. Some of these include:

1AICC: The Aviation Industry CBT (Computer-Based Training) Committee (AICC) is an international association of technology-based professionals. The AICC develops guidelines for the aviation industry on the development, delivery, and evaluation of CBT and related training technologies. The AICC promotes interoperability standards that software vendors can use across multiple industries. AICC recommendations are fairly general to most types of computer-based training and, for this reason, are widely used outside of the aviation training industry.
2SCORM: Shareable Courseware Object Reference Model (SCORM) is a suite of technical standards that enable web-based learning systems to find, import, share, reuse, and export learning content in a standardized way. The SCORM standards have defined how Learning Management Systems launch and track directed learning experiences.
